The basis of the business strategy of KZN Bieżanów is development by innovation. We gain competitive advantage investing in human capital, changing organisation, modernising machines (among others launching the modern, digital machining centre in Gantry) and introducing in our offer new, improved products. The foundation of these activities is development of our own manufacturing processes. The engineers of our Research-Development Centre work on improving them every day, cooperating with scientists from the AGH University of Science and Technology, Cracow University of Technology and Warsaw Railway Institute as well as with foreign entities, e.g. Talleres Alegría. Thanks to these efforts, in recent years, innovative technical solutions adapted to the most modern railway standards have been elaborated upon, including those related to high-speed railways.

Tangible proof of our innovativeness are junctions destined for speeds above 200 km/h equipped with frogs featuring movable nose, junctions with bainitic steel frogs, so-called narrow combined turnout ties or an innovative system of switch point rollers.
